I feel like im the Liver body type (more round around the middle) but ive just been eating the typical keto diet (high fat, low carb)- not really paid much attention to the amount of protein at all, and i have have los 30lbs (14kg) in the last 5 months – the weight around the middle has gone down significantly, gone down 4 sizes in jeans etc.. Just as Dr Berg says, i guess you have to try what works best for you. I don't think i would be able to stick to eating a whole bunch of cruciferous vegetables.

Dr. Berg how do you decrease or eliminate the goitrogenic effects of cruciferous veggies? I consume them regularly and I'm worried about the effects it's gonna have on my thyroid function

  • mitch nwb 3 months ago

3 oz of protein would be 85 grams and 6 oz would be 170 grams! Currently I'm having around 70-80 grams from food sources and I'm already worried that's not "moderate protein"! I'm 110 lbs, on 1400 calories on rest days and 1700 on workout days and allot 20-25% of my diet to protein. If I'm adrenal type that would spell problems for my glutes building dream…
